Om Shanti Om Hindi Movie Story

Om Prakash (SRK) is a junior artist in the 1970s and falls in love with film actress Shanti Priya (Deepika Padukone). Om befriends Shanti and soon realizes that Shanti has secretly married her film’s producer Mukesh Mehra (Arjun Rampal). After false promises of marrying her, Mukesh blames his film’s loss on Shanti, and imprisons her in the film set. With intentions of killing her, he sets fire to the set. Om sees this and tries to save Shanti, but instead, an explosion immediately kills her. Om is hit by a car and dies. But, the story does not end here. Om is reborn as famous actor O.K., who is the son of Rajesh Kapoor (Jayed Sheikh) and his wife (Asawari Joshi). O.K. is unaware of his previous life until he sees Mukesh Mehra and he soon plans his revenge. The rest of the story traces Om’s revenge into a dramatic climax.
