How to post LinkedIn Targeted Status Updates
- Log into LinkedIn and open the LinkedIn Company Page (Note: You need to be an admin of the LinkedIn Company page)
- Type in your status update you wish to post to your LinkedIn Company Page followers.
- Below the text box for the status update, the default settings is Share with All followers. Click on that to change the target audience.
- An overlay will appear that will enable you to target the message by Company Size, Industry, Function, Seniority and Geography.
- Choose the audience type to tailor LinkedIn Targeted Status Updates towards the message. You can include employees and also exclude them. Sometimes, inundating employees with information they already know might be repetitive (for example press releases might best be targeted towards non-employees)
- Once you make changes to the Targeted Audience, click Select and post the LinkedIn Targeted Status updates to your audience.
